Birkan Uzun - June 1993 to 31 December 2021.
Born in Famagusta, Uzun worked as a software engineer in the field of healthcare products at Amazon. He was killed in a skiing accident on Mt. Bachelor, Oregon, USA.
Uzun, who climbed Mount Vinson , the highest mountain in Antarctica , on December 16, 2021 , became the first Cypriot to climb there. He unfurled the flag of Northern Cyprus at the summit.
Uzun's plan was to climb Mount Everest in 2022 and the Carstensz Pyramid in 2023.

TAK (Turkish Agency Cyprus) 50th Anniversary.
Turkish Agency Cyprus, or TAK for short (English: Turkish Agency Cyprus), is a news agency located in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
It started its activities on December 21, 1973 by publishing its first bulletin in order for the Turkish Cypriot Provisional Administration to feel the need to have its own national news agency and for the Turkish Cypriot people to make their voices heard to the world.

40th Anniversary of Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic.
After the struggle for legitimacy and existence during the period 1955-1974, before Turkey intervened in the island as a guarantor state on 20 July 1974.
They declared the Federated State and Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic on 15 November 1983.

100th Anniversary of the Formation of the Republic of Turkey.
