A single stamp issue, available on Cyprus Stamps website in MINT and CTO/USED condition, also Full Sheets of 8 stamps and on Post Office Official FDC.

The Red Cross officially began operating in Cyprus in 1950, as a branch of the British Red Cross. After the proclamation of Cyprus as an independent state, it was established by virtue of the Cyprus Red Cross Law of 1967 (39/1967) under the name “Cyprus Red Cross”.
The law recognises the Cyprus Red Cross as a Voluntary Aid Body, auxiliary to public authorities for the purposes of the Geneva Conventions.
It is guided by the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality.
