The Dove of Peace (Embroidery)  UPU
Self-adhesive

Issue Date 19 September 2025.

"Peace is not everything, but without peace, everything is nothing" (Willy Brandt).
"In today's world, peace is essential in order to ensure a sustainable future and strrengthen cooperation between nations."

With these words, Hammerle & Vogel Gmbh & Co KG invited all postal services, through the Universal Postal Union (UPU), to participate in a joint commemorative edition with the "Dove of Peace."
It concerns the publication of a special embroidered embroidered stamp, which depicts a dove carrying an olive branch - one of the most recognisable and timeless symbols of peace worldwide, with deep roots in religious, cultural and political contexts.

This is the Cyprus' contribution, released on 19 September 2025.

Cyprus Stamps SG 2025
Stand up to Bullying

Issue Date: 19 September 2025

Bullying, unfortunately, is one of the greatest and most serious problems, which mainly afflict student youth around the world.
By this term we mean aggressive, physical, verbal and psychological behaviours that manifest deliberately, in an unprovoked manner and repeatedly in and out of school and in recent years also on the internet.

17% of children aged 11-15 in Cyprus have experienced school bullying and out of this percentage 5.4% are bullies, 7.4% are victims and 4.2% are victims who also become bullies.
Furthermore, one in five high school students have experienced some kind of bullying.

With the issuance of this stamp, the Cyprus Post actively contributes to raising awareness of this issue by sending the message "Stand up to bullying"!
